Over 2023, there were a few pilot who operated their T40 all summer using T30 batteries. When we followed up with them, they said they preferred the T30 batteries.
Kirk Wilmsmeyer, Missouri farmer and applicator, ran two T40s, each with four T30 batteries and one C8000 charger all of 2023 season.
Kirk had no issues with overheating the batteries on the T40. They did try to keep the batteries in the shade. Ran all day on those batteries. He said he'd choose the T30 batteries again.
AND he covered almost 13,000 acres in 2023. Kirk will be going into his third season with same batteries.
